OK, I never know what's going to 'hit' me in a movie. Sometimes I watch perfectly good movies and come out not caring. Other times I fall in love with the one I wouldn't expect....
I watched four movies yesterday while sewing (and may I reiterate here how much I despise sewing on georgette). The Namesake was a good movie, although I dont know that I'll watch it again. Fantastic 4...meh. No Reservations was pretty much exactly as billed. Again, probably won't watch it again.
27 Dresses? For some reason, I loved this movie. Since I wasn't done, I watched it again. (I have the ability to do that....watch movies over and over and over.) I'm not certain exactly what it was the made the movie click for me, but this is one I'll definitely buy when I next find a copy for $5.

Date: 2008-07-12 08:14 pm (UTC)I have trouble serging georgette though, chiffon too. My machine wanted to manhandle the material all the time. Ended up using a straight stich french seam. Maybe not technically appropriate, but it worked.
