Social dread....
I'm not very social. Somehow I've managed to overbook this week-end, though, with regularly scheduled events combined with a special one.
Thursday Night: Bunco 7-10
Saturday Morning: F&B writer's group 10-12
Saturday Night: Friend's BD party 7-9?10?
Sunday Night: BK Group 7-9
OK, it probably doesn't look so bad to you, but to me that's a whopping total of 10 hours! of being sociable (in addition to making Cream of Broccoli Soup on Sunday). I'm going to be worn out by the time the week-end's over.
On another note, people with nothing better to do with their time can go over to the Preditors and Editors Reader's Choice poll and vote for my story "Touching the Dead". Vote here. (If you liked it, that is...)
