Hurried Observations...
Jul. 27th, 2008 05:36 pmI'm miles behind on the f-list, and won't catch up until Monday or Tuesday. Sorry.
Observations from Conestoga, Part 1:
1) Driving cross-country while listening to "The Splendid Table" makes one hungry.
2) Sleep Number does not have my number. May have something to do with the pillows, though. (I'm a pillow junkie.)
3) A contact lens with a nick out of one side makes for weirdness.
Note to self: Take an extra pair of contact lenses next time.
4) Very many nice and interesting people there. (Will cover this later ;o) )
5) Illustrators Master Class was AWESOME.
6) In a related note....If you're about to read an entire novella aloud, TAKE A BOTTLE OF WATER WITH YOU! I read for over an hour. Throat dry and scratchy afterwards, woke up in morning feeling half-dead.
7) So many nice people.
