Make me want to run away sometimes.
All too often, what starts out as a polite discourse on some innocuous topic turns into a nasty slug-fest between two or three people, each bent on showing the others up. Others who comment--often begging for politesse--are ignored. Completely valid commentary on the original topic is drowned out by the flailing competitors.
It seems childish to me.
