Chili and Farscape Bandage
Feb. 12th, 2008 12:30 pmI was in one of those moods last night when I couldn't write. It passed, but I hate nights like that when I stare at the screen and nothing happens. I slept poorly and didn't wake up with any great insight. Bleh...
But I'm better now. Went to the post office, picked up dog food, then groceries, researched new mobile-phone plans, made chili and watched an episode of Farscape as I did so. Chili and Farscape make anything better.
Must get that story out today, got a prospective home for it with a fast turn-around. Will work on D#2 afterwards, and look over the outline for SOTF, which I'm going to admit to myself must be cut into 2 books. There, I admit it. I've put in nearly 300 pages one this one, and can't see hitting both of the 'major plot events' in less than 600, so I think it's inevitable. (Lots of little minor events happen, but the two big hills in there would work as two separate books.)
Gotta make a business call (double-blech) and then to work.
