This morning, in the light rain, I went out to remove the white tape that's wrapped around one of our young trees (hedge maples). Then I figured out why all the tape has suddenly started coming loose. On close inspection, all 3 maples have claw marks about 3 feet up the tree. And not from our dogs.

If you regularly use Amtrak, could you answer a question for me?

If we're planning to take the train from Philadelphia to Saratoga Springs (not during morning rush), is there any need for us to buy the tickets ahead of time? Or to make reservations (which seems to be the same thing?)

How about Saratoga to Montreal?

Montreal to Philadelphia?

Any knowledge? Bob?
