Cranky at 419
Jun. 13th, 2006 08:07 pmWhen I used to teach, on days like this I would hand-write on a half sheet of paper CRANKY and then pin it to my shirt so that the students were forewarned. Generally, it worked pretty well.
Picked up all materials pertaining to Treasurership of the OWFI today, as well as getting signed onto the bank account. I now hold their money in my hands...OK, it's not that impressive. We just finished our conference, and there's barely enough money in the accounts to keep us in cappuccino at the next meeting (slight exageration)
Not making much writing time today, but I have made a tiny bit of progress. Up to 419, which is not bad, all told. Just wish I were done. I'm now 1.5 months past my original deadline. I really think this isn't going to be done until July. I'm not working on anything else, though, which is triggering some guilt (oh....I should send this story off....yadda, yadda, yadda). I hope I can keep focus long enough to get this first draft pounded out and then I'll get the 'other stuff' done.
